Woman's body found at Treasure Island Beach Pavilion

TREASURE ISLAND — A city employee cleaning the Treasure Island Beach Pavilion found a woman's body early Monday, police said. The dead woman was discovered about 7:45 a.m. She was identified as Linda J. Wood, 50, of St. Louis, Mo. The investigation is continuing, pending autopsy and toxicology results, but so far there is no indication of foul play, police said. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Det.
