Temperatures will struggle to climb above 80 degrees today as a largearea of cloudiness moves in from the Gulf of Mexico, increasing rain chances for much of the Gulf Coast.
Much of the region will see cloudy skies and up to a 50 percent chance of rain.
A cool front is expected to move through the region on Friday.
The front should leave behind slightly lower temperatures, according to Bay News 9.
Daytime highs through early next week are expected to be in the mid-80s, or about normal for this time of year.
