Love Your Neighbor ministry needs cookbooks to sell, nonperishable food, toiletries, paper goods for its weekly dinner, pressure-treated lumber to build wheelchair ramps, volunteers for its emergency repairs program, and dependable vehicles (preferably pickup trucks). Call (352) 428-9275.

First Baptist Church of Brooksville, 420 Howell Ave., will offer "Saddle Ridge Ranch" vacation Bible school for children who have finished kindergarten through fifth grade from 9 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday. Call (352) 796-6791 to register. The church also will present Christian recording artist Shaun Groves in concert and leading worship at the 10:45 a.m. service June 27. Groves has been nominated for seven Dove awards and has toured the world with artists including Bebo Norman, Jars of Clay and Michael W. Smith. The event is free.

Community Bible Church, 5041 Griffin Road, will offer "Backstage Pass: All Access" vacation Bible school for children age 4 through those who have completed fifth grade. Hope Youth Ranch and Learning Academy, 17933 East Road, needs a donated modular building that can be put on its property to house more students. The nonprofit organization provides therapeutic care and housing for teenage girls and a school open to the community. Hope Ranch Learning Academy is a Florida-registered school for students needing special education in Pasco and Hernando counties. Part of the curriculum for both of these endeavors is training in riding and caring for horses, known as equine-assisted therapy. Call (727) 232-0119.

"SonQuest Rainforest" will include Bible stories, games, songs, snacks, lunch and arts and crafts. Parents may join their children at 4:45 p.m. for dinner. Spring Hill Bible Church, 15449 Spring Hill Drive, will offer "SonQuest Rainforest: Parables of Jesus" vacation Bible school to children ages 4 through sixth grade from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. There will also be a program specifically designed for youth in grades 7 to 12 called "TruthQuest." First United Methodist Church, 9344 Spring Hill Drive, offers the Respite Room from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays for people caring for those with memory challenges, such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Weeki Wachee

Christian Church in the Wildwood, 10051 Country Road, is collecting beans, rice, oil, peanut butter, clothing and hygiene products for shipment to the church's missionary contact in Gonaives, Haiti, to be distributed to those in need.
