Hernando Religion Calendar for Sept. 29

St. John's Episcopal Church, 200 S. Brooksville Ave., will have a Blessing of the Animals in honor of St. Francis at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 7 in the church yard. Cats, dogs, rescue pets, horses and other pets are welcome. Snacks for pets will be provided. Also, the church will offer a free spaghetti dinner at 5 p.m. Oct. 8, after a free 3 p.m. organ concert by church organist Harlan Ayers, a member of the American Guild of Organists.
