Memorial service held for three Kansas shooting victims

Associated Press

Rev. Adam Hamilton wipes his eyes during a prayer at an interfaith memorial service Thursday at the Jewish Community Center in Overland Park, Kan., site of one of two shootings that stunned the city Sunday on the eve of Passover. Attorney General Eric Holder told an overflow crowd of about 1,300 that all Americans stand with the mourners of the three killed, adding that hate crimes are "an affront to who we are." Avowed white supremacist Frazier Glenn Cross, 73, is charged with killing Dr. William Corporon, his 14-year-old grandson, Reat Underwood, and Terri LaManno. All three were Christian.
