Religion calendar: Brandon church to host Military Appreciation Sunday

Bell Shoals Baptist Church will host Military Appreciation Sunday on April 13 to honor those who serve and the families who support them. The celebration will feature uplifting music and guest speaker Steve Russell, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel who will tell his story about the capture of Saddam Hussein. Services will be held at 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m. in the Bell Shoals Baptist Church Worship Center, 2102 Bell Shoals Road, Brandon. For more information, go to or call 689-4229, ext. 229.
