Chabad Spring Hill is offering the Shofar Factory to Jewish children — ages 3 to 13 with adult supervision — from 10:30 a.m. to noon Sept. 10 at Holiday Inn Express, 3528 Commercial Way. The cost is $5 per child online at chabadspringhill.com, or $10 at the door. Children will create and keep their own authentic shofar, from an unworked ram's horn, and will learn how to blow it as is traditionally done on Rosh Hashanah. Northcliffe Baptist Church, 10515 Northcliffe Blvd., will host Christian recording artist Josh Wilson in concert at 7 p.m. Sept. 2. Special guests for the night of music and stories will be Ike Ndolo and Sarah Kroger. Tickets are $25 at the door or $20 if purchased at the church office.
