St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 1239 Del Webb Blvd. W, hosts tenor Daniel Rodriguez, the famed "singing cop," on Sunday at 3 p.m. as part of its ongoing concert series. Rodriguez rose to fame after performing God Bless America at Yankee Stadium after the Sept. 11, 2001, tragedy. Congregation Beth Shalom, 706 Bryan Road, will hold Movie Night on Jan. 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the temple. The Jewish Community Center is providing the Israeli film Noodle free of charge. This movie is a heartwarming drama about a young Chinese boy who is left behind in the home of an Israeli woman and the struggles they encounter as they search for his family. Brandon Christian Women's Connection: Celebrate the new year at a Black and White Luncheon hosted by the Brandon Christian Women's Connection from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 14 at the Bell Shoals Special Events Center, 2101 Bell Shoals Road.
