Bible discussion: An in-depth Bible study on Joshua: Conquering Your Enemies, takes place Feb. 6 at the Shoresh David Messianic Synagogue, 4320 Bay to Bay Boulevard. The session will utilize the Precept Upon Precept study method, which includes homework, discussion and lecture. The deadline for registration is Jan. 16. Children's Health Discussion: The TIKVAH special needs program at Tampa Jewish Family Services present a talk on "Biomedical Therapies for Children with Ongoing Medical Conditions." Guest speaker David Berger, M.D., FAAP, will discuss how conditions such as autism, ADHD, asthma, allergies and autoimmune diseases can be improved through dietary modification, nutritional supplementation and detoxification. TIKVAH Talk will be 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 20 at the Tampa Jewish Community Center, 13009 Community Campus Drive. Buddist Meditation: American Buddhist monk Kelsang hosts a meditation Tuesday at Angel Heart New Age Gift, 3401 Henderson Blvd., No. H. "Developing Love and Compassion," and an introduction to meditation from the Kadampa Buddhist tradition will be presented. Everyone is welcome to attend, and the class is suitable for beginners. Marriage workshop: The Franciscan Center presents an evening on marriage and relationship enrichment, "Refresh, renew, rekindle your relationship," from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Debbie Rivera will host the session on great ways to rejuvenate the love you have for each other. This is open to couples is all stages of relationship.
