Microsoft wants girls to share digital day

Microsoft is calling out to all digital gals in Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas County schools. On March 28, 200 11th-grade girls will spend a half-day hobnobbing with female executives, professors and other techie women at the company's "DigiGirlz" camp and the Microsoft Across America technology bus at the University of South Florida. The event will be from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the USF College of Business in Tampa. It includes a visit to the Microsoft Technology Bus stocked with gadgets and computers, presentations on Internet security, panel discussions and technology breakout sessions with local Microsoft employees.
