Showers in forecast for Election Day

RECOMMENDED READING

Voters heading to the polls on Tuesday may encounter some showers.

Forecasters predict up to a 60 percent chance of rain in the Tampa Bay area as a cool front moves through the region, according to Bay News 9.

After the showers pass through, the front will bring in cooler, drier air for the next few days.

High temperatures will be in the mid-70s on Tuesday and the low 70s on Wednesday and Thursday. Overnight lows will be in the low to mid-50s, and the 40s immediately north of the Tampa Bay region.

By Friday, temperatures should gradually begin warming into the high 70s or low 80s through the weekend.
