The Tampa Police Department took part in the Great Doughnut Delivery Dash, a fundraiser to benefit the Special Olympics. After taking orders for the past few weeks, Tampa police loaded patrol cars and delivered more than 200 dozen doughnuts to local charities. “At the end of the year if we raise $25,000 to benefit the Special Olympics, this is a good year for our efforts,” said Lt. Ricardo Ubinas of the Tampa Police Department.

    SPRING HILL — A staffer and coach at Fox Chapel Middle School was arrested Tuesday, accused of sexually assaulting a student on the school's campus.

    Marcus Wells, 34, an in-school suspension monitor at Fox Chapel Middle School, was arrested Tuesday on allegations that he sexually battered a student, according to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office.
