LUTZ — Taco Bus is rolling into Lutz with a new location slated to open next week near the Tampa Premium Outlets.

The chain started as a food truck and now has eight restaurants in Tampa, Lakeland, St. Petersburg and Brandon. In May, Taco Bus opened in Miami, its first location outside the Tampa Bay area.

"Taco Bus is proud to expand our offerings to the growing Tampa Bay community," said Heather Chaudhry, director of marketing and operations. "We hope our customers will benefit from the new stores and help us 'Keep It Chido.' "

Taco Bus uses traditional recipes from every region of Mexico, providing authentic Mexican tastes prepared fresh every day in their custom kitchens. Everything is made fresh daily and nothing is frozen.

Menu items include quesadillas, empanadas, tacos, tostadas, tortas and burritos. Diners can customize their dish by choosing from chicken, pork, beef and seafood, along with various toppings. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are also offered on the menu.

The Lutz location will feature a new, state-of-the-art kiosk ordering system. Catering and online ordering is available.

Taco Bus has been featured nationally by several culinary TV series, including the Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, hosted by Guy Fieri.

Taco Bus is located inside the Shell station at 25195 State Road 54. For more information, visit taco-bus.com.
