Tampa International Airport is looking for volunteers to greet travelers

Tampa International Airport is looking for 100 volunteers to greet travelers as they arrive in Tampa Bay. The volunteers will help hand out maps, brochures and tourism information. Four tourism information kiosks are being built near the baggage claim areas as part of the airport's $30 million modernization of the main terminal.

In exchange for a six-month commitment to work one four-hour shift per week, the volunteers will receive free parking and invitations to special "thank you" events throughout the year.

If you are interested in becoming an airport volunteer, go to www.tampaairport.com or call the airport's public affairs office at (813) 870-8759.
