Bad weather elsewhere causing flight delays at Tampa International Airport

TAMPA — A snowstorm that stretched from Maine to Colorado caused some flight delays Tuesday at Tampa International Airport.

Several of the airport's afternoon flights to and from Chicago were delayed up to an hour.

Flight times began shifting as early as 10 a.m., airport spokeswoman Brenda Geoghagan said.

There were also delays for flights from Minneapolis and Salt Lake City.

The airport's Web site also shows departures for Atlanta and Baltimore have been delayed.

Check tampaairport.com for updated flight information.
