TAMPA — An entrance ramp onto the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway and a one-lane segment of the toll road are now closed for months.
Sunday night, the 22nd Street entrance ramp onto the eastbound expressway was closed. And an eastbound lane of the expressway from 22nd Street to 26th Street was closed.
Both are around-the-clock closures.
The ramp is estimated to reopen in spring 2013; the single lane is estimated to reopen in fall 2013, the Florida Department of Transportation said.
During the road work, drivers are being detoured east on State Road 60 to the 50th Street entrance ramp onto the eastbound expressway.
