TAMPA — Thirty flights out of Tampa International Airport were canceled Monday morning as the East Coast recovered from Hurricane Irene.
The 19 arrivals and 11 departures were mostly to and from northeastern states, said spokeswoman Brenda Geoghagan.
The cancellations come on top of 91 nixed flights on Sunday and 41 Saturday.
Airport officials advise passengers traveling in the next few days to check with airlines for delays or cancellations.
Geoghagan said it would take awhile to get everything back to normal.
