ST. PETERSBURG – One lane opened Wednesday morning on the Pinellas Bayway ramp to northbound Interstate 275 that was closed Monday after a cement truck flipped and gouged the roadway, officials said.
Florida Department of Transportation officials believe the second lane will open tonight, also ahead of schedule. Officials had expected the repairs to be finished by Thursday.
The ramp had been closed since about 1 p.m. Monday.
