PSTA adds St. Pete Beach ticket outlet amid record bus ridership in Pinellas County

PSTA adds ticket outlet amid record ridership

The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority saw a record number of riders using its buses last year. More than 13.1 million riders used the buses during the 2010-11 fiscal year. That's the most riders in the 108-year history of public transportation in Pinellas County.

The PSTA also opened a new ticket outlet at Maddy's Scrumdiddlyumptious Sweets & Treats, 595 Corey Ave., St. Pete Beach. Maddy's is next to one of PSTA's busiest transfer points at 75th Avenue and Gulf Boulevard, where the Suncoast Beach Trolley connects with the new Central Avenue Trolley. For information about routes and services, go to psta.net or call the PSTA InfoLine at (727) 540-1900.
