Gas leak shuts down Bryan Dairy Road near Starkey Road intersection

SEMINOLE — A gas leak at a construction site Friday morning shut down a portion of Bryan Dairy Road near the intersection of Starkey Road.

Traffic was being rerouted from the scene around 10:30 a.m. as crews worked to repair the leak, officials said.

It took less than half an hour to patch the rupture, officials said. Crews reopened the road to motorists around 11:10 a.m.

It was not immediately clear what caused the leak.
