The outside lane of eastbound Kennedy Boulevard is closed between Gardenia Avenue and Occident Street while workers repair a fire hydrant damaged in a traffic crash, the Tampa Water Department said Saturday. All Kennedy Boulevard traffic in the area is being merged into the inside lanes. The lane is expected to reopen at 5 p.m. Monday.
