LARGO — Four city roads are getting speed tables.
The tables, which are like speed humps but wider, will be installed on First Avenue NW, Howard Drive, 11th Street NW and 12th Street NW, according to a city newsletter. The tables are part of a project to improve Clearwater-Largo Road and the surrounding area.
City officials have put out a bid for construction firms. The results of the bid will be presented to city commissioners for a vote at the Aug. 15 meeting.
Construction is expected to start this fall.
