TAMPA — The exit ramp from southbound Interstate 275 to Dale Mabry Highway reopened Friday night, four months after it closed for the interstate construction project.

Exit 41 reopened about 10:30 p.m., according to the Florida Department of Transportation. Officials noted that the exit ramp is on the right side of I-275, east of Himes Avenue.

DOT said in May that the busy exit would reopen sometime in September. For the last four months, drivers who wanted to exit the interstate in that area have used a lefthand exit to Himes.
