Sinkhole closes Dover Road in east Hillsborough

A sinkhole has opened southeast of Plant City in the area of Dover Road. The sinkhole is just north of Sydney Road and south of Walden Sheffield Road, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday evening. Dover Road is closed in both directions and county maintenance workers are en route to the site.
