Tornado warning lifted for northwest Hillsborough County

A tornado warning has been lifted for northwest Hillsborough County, the National Weather Service reports.

Radar indicated a tornado near Carrollwood, moving southeast at 10 mph.

No tornado was reported to have touched down, reports Bay News 9. The warning was issued just after 3 p.m. and lifted about 3:45 p.m.

The storm that prompted the warning could continue to produce heavy wind and rain, the weather service reports.
