TAMPA — Headed to the Bucs game today?
You might want to bring a poncho.
"There is a possibility of having some sprinkles still around at the start of the game," said Bay News 9 meteorologist Diane Kacmarik. "I'm not real confident those clouds will break up any time earlier."
Temperatures should be in the upper 50s or low 60s at the 1 p.m. kick-off of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Detroit Lions at Raymond James Stadium, Kacmarik said.
Temperatures will start to drop in the Tampa Bay area around sunset, with lows forecast to hit the freezing mark in Hernando and Pasco counties overnight Sunday.
Pinellas County and the western portion of Hillsborough County should be slightly warmer, dipping into the upper 40s.
The cooler weather will likely stick around through Tuesday morning, when a warming trend should bring temperatures into the 70s, Kacmarik said.
