Reach for a jacket: Today's forecast is chilly with a breeze.
Temperatures around the Tampa Bay area will hover near 60 degrees today, said Bay News 9 meteorologist Josh Linker, and dip to the low 50s tonight.
But the sun will come out Monday. Expect highs in the 70s through Tuesday, he said.
On New Year's Eve, whether you're watching fireworks in Tampa's Channel District or taking the kids to St. Petersburg's First Night, bundle up. Evening temperatures will again drop to the low 50s.
There's no chance of rain until Wednesday, Linker said, so you can leave the umbrella at home.
