First of two cool fronts headed to Tampa Bay region

A cold front moving through the Tampa Bay are is going to dramatically change the weather from the record fetes of the past few days.

Small craft and high seas advisories have been issued as gust winds gusting up to 30 miles per hour whipped through the area.

Behind the front will be cooler, drier air that will drop temperatures as much 15 degrees from recent days.

Early morning temperatures on Friday will dip into the 40s, with highs during the day reaching only the high 60s.

Through the weekend, high temperatures will be around 70 with lows dipping into the 50s or high 40s.

On Monday, another cool front will sweep in, bringing lower temperatures.

Highs on Tuesday and Wednesday will probably not reach 70 degrees, Marquez said.
