Dense fog clouded roads throughout Tampa Bay on Friday morning, with some areas reporting visibility of less than half a mile.
Areas along the Gandy Bridge had only about 100 feet of visibility, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Near Tampa International Airport, visibility was down to half a mile, said Bay News 9 meteorologist Diane Kacmarik. Parts of downtown Tampa were also affected by dense fog.
In Pinellas, visibility was down to about a mile Friday morning, Kacmarik said. The fog was expected to clear after sunrise.
More fog may be headed to areas of Tampa Bay throughout the weekend in the evening and early morning hours, according to the National Weather Service.
