Friday's highs climb to about 87 degrees and dry air and high pressure allow overnight temperatures to drop to the upper 60s, according to 10Weather WTSP meteorologist Grant Gilmore.
Calmer winds compared to the last few days will come out of the west around 5 mph, making for a smooth holiday weekend out on the water, Gilmore said.
The drier air moves out of the area over the weekend, and while Memorial Day on Monday is forecast to stay clear, Gilmore said chances of rain return on Tuesday.
