Tampa Bay will see the smallest chance of rain this month on Friday with a 20 percent chance of a few pop-up showers later in the day.

Despite a mostly dry Friday, a few clusters of rain could surface in the afternoon and evening. But they will be nowhere near as prevalent as in the past several days, according to 10Weather WTSP meteorologist Grant Gilmore.
Skies will be a bit overcast early on, Gilmore said, but a decent amount of sunshine should filter in throughout the day.
But the drier weather won't last for long, Gilmore said, as moisture surges back from the south heading into the weekend.
That will make for a 50 to 60 percent for afternoon and evening showers and storms both Saturday and Sunday.
