The year's first full fall weekend will bring cooler, drier conditions to the Bay Area this weekend.
Expect highs in the upper 80-s and lows in the 70-s or even high 60-s in parts of Pasco County, Bay News 9 Forecaster Diane Kacmarik said Friday. Breezy weather will blow in as a cold front continues to move into the region. An area of dry air will also lower rain chances, but won't eliminate the chance entirely, Kacmarik said.
"Each day will have about a 20 percent chance for a little fast moving shower, and that will be mainly in the afternoon time," Kacmarik said.
After a wet week that dumped as many as 5 inches of rain on parts of Pasco County and prompted flood and rip current warning, storms began moving out of the area Wednesday night.
