While the next few days are forecast to continue packing warm temperatures, the region is slowly starting to see a little bit of dry air in the atmosphere, 10Weather WTSP meteorologist Bobby Deskins said.

This will cut down the chance of rain, Deskins said.

Offshore scattered showers will move closer to the coast in the late morning on Wednesday, Deskins said, and will eventually drift inland in the afternoon.

Rain chances dip slightly on Wednesday to 20-30 percent, Deskins said, with highs returning to high-80s and low-90s throughout the day and rest of the work week.

Thursday's forecast looks similar, Deskins said, with drier air to the north, more moisture to the south and a slight chance of rain by the afternoon hours.
