Forecast: Summer weather arrives, with humidity and afternoon rain

High temperatures are expected to reach 90 degrees every day this week as Florida shifts into a summer weather pattern.

Rain chances will also increase as the week goes on, with persistent showers inland and some afternoon rain along the coast.

The storms are expected to pick up Wednesday through Friday, with a 40 percent chance of rain each day. Forecasters predict high humidity levels to remain through the end of the work week.

The water temperature was 79 degrees early Monday morning.
