A 90-degree day in March? It's definitely within the realm of possibility for some residents across Tampa Bay on Wednesday.

While temperatures along the coast will be slightly cooler, much of the Tampa Bay area tops out in the mid to upper 80s under clear and sunny skies, according to 10Weather WTSP meteorologist Ashley Batey.
However, folks east of Interstate 75 — including Lakeland, Sebring and Wauchula — could reach that 90-degree mark, Batey said.
Humidity makes a comeback in the afternoon along with the heat, Batey said, due to thin clouds and light winds.
Rain chances increase at the end of the week as a round of showers arrive Friday.
The system brings scattered showers and a few storms in the afternoon and evening, Batey said. Severe weather is not expected.
