Few clouds, lots of sunshine and light winds work together to allow temperatures to shoot up during the afternoon, according to 10Weather WTSP meteorologist Ashley Batey.
Overnight temperatures only drop down to the 60s, making for a slightly warmer Wednesday morning before 80s make a return midday, Batey said.
The first sight of rain comes Thursday when a weak front rolls through.
"We will see about a 40 percent chance," Batey said, "largely in the afternoon with a few stray showers and maybe a couple of rumbles of thunder."
