Tampa Bay drivers were urged to use caution on the roads Friday morning thanks to patches of dense sea fog.
The dense fog, expected to linger near coastal waters, could drop visibility to less than a quarter mile, according to the National Weather Service.
A dense fog advisory was in place for the coastal gulf waters from Bonita Beach to the Suwannee river until 10 a.m.
The fog was expected to stick around through the late morning and into the early afternoon.
