TAMPA — Hillsborough County Public Schools officials are taking a wait-and-see approach on whether to cancel classes Monday as Tropical Storm Isaac moves toward the Gulf of Mexico.
The district will use ParentLink automated phone calls if schools are closed. Updates also will be available on the district's website, on Twitter and in the news media.
Officials with the region's universities were also holding off on a decision.
