Tropical Storm Lisa forms in eastern Atlantic Ocean

Tropical Storm Lisa has formed in the eastern Atlantic Ocean, becoming the 12th named storm of the 2010 hurricane season.

Lisa, which is about 530 miles west-northwest of the Cape Verde Islands, has sustained winds near 40 mph and is tracking north about 5 mph.

It's expected to continue in this direction for the next day before it turns north-northwest.

Lisa is expected to strengthen over the next two days.
