Is it a normal summer now? Highs around 87 and showers likely

It might finally feel like a normal summer day, with a 60 percent chance of afternoon showers and a high around 87 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

Winds will be from the west at 8 to 14 mph with gusts of 20 mph possible. Wind conditions have increased the likelihood of rip currents.

The chance of rain remains high through 11 p.m., with as much as an inch possible throughout the day in a few isolated areas. Lows should bottom out at 78 degrees.
