Tampa Bay will see its best chance of rain in weeks, and its coolest weather in months, as a low-pressure system moves in later this week.
Before that, we should see more of the same hot and dry weather, said Bay News 9 meteorologist Josh Linker.
Highs Monday and Tuesday are forecast to be in the mid 80s with little chance of rain.
Wednesday and Thursday will see the best chance of rain at 50 percent as a low-pressure system moves into the region. Temperatures are expected to stay in the mid 80s.
Linker said temperatures should drop into the 60s and low 70s on Friday and over the weekend as the system settles in.
