TAMPA — The steam room may be the only place Tampa Bay residents find much humidity this weekend.
Bay News 9 meteorologist Juli Marquez said drier air is in place over the region and clear skies and comfortable temperatures will make for a beautiful weekend.
"We wait all summer or this kind of weather because we have to go through four months of the hot conditions, the high humidity, the storms," Marquez said.
Highs will reach the low 80s Saturday and Sunday afternoons, she said, while lows will be between the mid 50s and low 60s across most of the region. Hernando County and areas north of the bay could see low temperatures dip into the upper 40s.
"So you might need a jacket, sweatshirt or long sleeves if you wake up and are out the door in the early morning," she said. "Otherwise, it looks nice."
