Patchy fog enveloped parts of Tampa Bay on Sunday morning, leading to an advisory for motorists on the Sunshine Skyway.
Denser pockets of fog were reported in east Pasco County, but visibility had improved a few hours later. Visibility in other areas of Tampa Bay was above a mile by 9:30 a.m., said Bay News 9 meteorologist Josh Linker.
The Florida Highway Patrol issued a fog warning on the Sunshine Skyway, but Linker said conditions there had also improved.
Temperatures Sunday will reach into the upper 70s, Linker said.
On Monday, temperatures will also be in the 70s with a 20 percent chance of spotty showers throughout the day.
Linker said a reappearance of fog Monday morning is possible but "not very likely."
"We won't cool as much as we could," he said, adding "the wind will be up a little bit."
