The first weekend of fall is going to feel a lot like summer.
According to WTSP 10Weather, the next three days will bring afternoon storms and temperatures in the upper 80s.
So that's a little better than the mid 90s of July.
Rain chances were 40 percent for Friday, and tick up to 50 percent for Saturday and Sunday, according to WTSP, with areas east of Interstate 75 most likely to get wet.
Is it going to feel any more like fall? Lower humidity, perhaps?
"No," said WTSP meteorologist Bobby Deskins. "No change in that at all."
In addition, Deskins said he's watching an area in the Gulf of Mexico that could develop into a weak tropical system by Sunday.
That could bring heavier rain to the Tampa Bay area at the beginning of next week, Deskins said.
