The calendar doesn't yet say summer, but the heat isn't waiting around.

Summer temperatures already are beginning to settle in, with daily highs in the 90s.

High temperatures the next few days are expected to be in the low 90s, with overnight lows in the mid 70s. That's about average for this time of year.

"Enjoy the humidity,'' said Mike Clay, chief meteorologist with Bay News 9.

Rain chances through the weekend will be 20 to 40 percent, Clay said, with high rain chances expected next week.
