The point bears repeating: It's going to be cold this weekend.
Florida-cold, almost certainly, and possibly cold-cold. The high temperature on Saturday could hit sometime around dawn in the mid-60s, said Bay News 9 meteorologist Mike Clay. A front might bring light rain. From there, the mercury will only drop and Tampa Bay could see sustained winds of 40 mph, according to Clay.
He said nighttime temperatures could touch the mid-40s. Forget the sweaters, bring a jacket.
Sunday will be cool and sunny, Clay said, with temperatures in the 60s.
And Friday night? Treat, not trick. Cool and clear, with a high chance for candy.
