A chill is creeping into the Tampa Bay area.
Highs are expected to only reach the 50s and 60s the next two days, according to Bay News 9.
Residents throughout the region were expected to wake up Thursday to morning temperatures in the 40s. Parts of Hernando and Citrus counties may see dips into the 30s, forecasters said.
The lower-than-average temps, expected to last through the day, come on the heels of a cold front that swept through Wednesday, bringing wind and rain.
"Friday will be a little bit warmer," meteorologist Josh Linker said.
Weekend weather will be breezy with high temperatures in the low to mid 70s, he said.
