Wednesday's fog won't be lingering in Tampa Bay Thursday, with a gusty cold front that's moving in and dropping temperatures.
The chance of rain is 60 percent for Tampa Bay, said Bay News Nine meteorologist Juli Marquez. Hernando and Pasco counties received heavy rains in the morning.
The cold front will be dropping temperatures in the 60s and 50s before the weekend.
"You'll really feel it by tomorrow morning," she said. "It could be 20 degrees cooler than it is now."
The good news is the chances of rain will drop Friday, and a warm front will move in this weekend and push temperatures to the 70s, she said. But it will also bring higher chances of rain.
