Temperatures across Tampa Bay were about 20 degrees warmer Tuesday morning than they were Monday morning. Areas closer to the bay were in the 50s, and areas east of the bay were in the high 40s.
Monday morning brought temperatures in the 30s across Tampa Bay, with a hard freeze warning issued for Pasco, Hernando, Citrus and Levy counties.
Tampa Bay was expected to be in the 70s Tuesday afternoon, with the warmth expected to continue through the week.
