Forecasters say we can expect plenty of scattered showers and thunderstorms Wednesday thanks to a tropical system zeroing in on South Florida.
Skies are expected to be mostly cloudy with a high in the upper 80s, said Bay News 9 Meteorologist Josh Linker. Rain chances today are 50 percent.
But the rain won't last long, as drier air is moving into the area, Linker said. On Thursday, there is only a 20 percent chance of rain. Then it will get cooler overnight Thursday into Friday, with temperatures in the low 60s, he said.
Friday should be mostly sunny with a high near 91, forecasters say.
